Will all the advertised new functionality, most importantly textads. AdMentor docs has been updated which will give you some screenshots and explaination on how it works

Just finished up the last(?) bug reports for 5.01 - date picker wasn't working ok and there was an error when previewing a textad banner in admin GUI of the banner wasn't made active.

I will now start updating the docs to include the new functionality and after that, yes, we will release it for the public. Existing customers will be able to do a simple upgrade patch by :

1. applying a single database script

2. copying some files (dll:s and some aspx)

Finally I have managed to get a live demo of AdMentor PRO up. Moreover - it also shows all the new stuff, such as textads etc. Please bear in mind that this is not the release version, but still have some more days of testing.

So there could be bugs and strange things, but to be honest, the engine itself is running really smooth, and I hope (or dare I even say expect) my test crew to only find smaller GUI related things.

I have just finished off creating a login captcha control for AdMentor admin login. It's invisible - and I won't get into much more details - one of the most important things about a captcha is being unique and "doing some things your own way"...This mimimizes the risk that some automatic hacker tool can use a predefined "standard" solution for password testing etc.

So now we have two layers of password cracking security:

• login trial log. Maximum X trials in Y minutes
• invisible captcha

Things are going really smooth at the moment, I have some textad templates to create before sending it off to my test team. So, 15th of May 2007 is still looking like the correct release date för next version.
